Kristine Grenier- 9 & Jessica Kaminsky - 7 - Pembina Valley Hawks - Forwards
This week 2 forwards from the Pembina Valley Hawks have been named co-players of the week for the MFMHL. Veteran third year Hawk Kristine Grenier and first year Hawk Jessica Kaminsky both had 9 points over the weekend to lead their team to victories over Westman (7-0) and Yellowhead (5-1). Grenier had 6 goals and 3 assists while Kaminsky had 2 goals and 7 assists, Grenier scored 4 goals in the 5-1 win over Yellowhead. Grenier, last year's MFMHL scoring champ, leads the Hawks and the MFMHL in scoring this year with 21 points including 12 goals while Kaminsky who played in Winnipeg last season now sits second for the Hawks and the league with 16 points.
Grenier one of the most dominant players in the MFMHL will be a key member of Team Manitoba at the Canada Games in 2011 and the Hawks are looking for her and Kaminsky to continue their hot scoring if the Hawks are to defend their MFMHL and Provincial Championships.

Madison Hutchinson - 17 - Pembina Valley Hawks - Defense
The MFMHL Defensive Player of the Week is Pembina Valley Hawk Defense Madison Hutchinson who was plus 7 in 2 games. Hutchinson also contributed 2 assists in the Hawks two wins over the weekend vs. Westman and Yellowhead. Hutchinson is a first year defense who hails from Manitou and to date has 10 points for the Hawks. Hutchinson is in Grade 10 and her Player Profile can be seen at the link below:
