 Leiette Klassen- Goalie - Pembina Valley Hawks

 

Klassen was one of the top goalies in the Province as she the backstopped the Hawks to the initial MFMHL Championship plus was selected to the Under 18 Team Manitoba Squad that won Bronze at the Hockey Canada National Championship. Klassen is in her first year with the Bisons and to date the Rookie netminder has 3 wins and 1 loss for the #4 ranked team in CIS Hockey who currently sit in first place in the Canada West Conference. To date her stats speak for themselves as in her 4 starts she has a .949 Save % and a GAA of only 1.15. The MFMHL wishes Leiette all the best in her CIS career. To see her Bison Profile go to:

  Brianna Workman-Goalie-Yellowhead Chiefs    

 

Brianna Workman - Goalie - Yellowhead Chiefs

 

Workman played for the Yellowhead Chiefs in the MFMHL's first year of existence and was one of the top goalies in the league as well as the Province. She is now a member of the University of Saskatchewan Huskies in the Canada West Conference of the CIS. To date in her young university career Workman has 3 wins and 1 loss. While with Yellowhead her MFMHL stats saw her pocess a Save % of .914 and GAA of 2.01. Workman is in her second season with the Huskies and the MFMHL wishes her all the best in her CIS career.        Melissa Klippenstein-F-Pembina Valley  

 

Melissa Klippenstein - Forward - Pembina Valley Hawks

 

Klippenstein tallied the first goal of her NCAA Collegiate career for the Minnesota State Mavericks on Nov. 12 in a 5-3 victory over Ohio State. Klippenstein was a standout for the MFMHL's PV Hawks the past 3 seasons including one of their top offensive threats over the past 2 seasons when the Hawks won 2 MFMHL and 1 Provincial Championship. During her Midget career she tallied 62 goals and 66 assists for a total of 128 points in 77 games for the Hawks. The 5'10'' forward who was known as a power forward who was very aggressive along the boards also had the ability to put the puck in the net as she has a good shot and creative hands around the net.
