Offensive Player

# 15 - Heather Lawrence – Forward - Yellowhead Chiefs

 Lawrence had 2 goals and 1 assist in a tough 3-2 win vs. Central Plains.To date the Grade 11 student who attends school in Rivers leads the Chiefs with 18 goals and 34 points for the season.

She a strong 2-way player who is also second on her team in plus/minus and leads by example.

Defensive Player

#1  - Alysa Maciejkow – Goalie - Central Plains

Maciejkow was utilized as an emergency AP as both Central Plains Midget goalies were injured and their regular AP unavailable. The young Bantam had a strong game stopping 25 of 28 shots fired her way in her first MFMHL game and only lost the tie in the last 3 seconds of the game when her team was unable to clear the puck. To date for Portage Minor's Bantam "A" team she has a recorded of 16-1 with a goals against of 1.67.
