KRENTZ PLAYS FIRST CIS LEAGUE GAME

Former MFMHLer Riki Krentz  (Eastman Selects) was scheduled to play her first CIS conference game with the Mount Allison Mounties in the Atlantic University Sport Conference on Friday Oct. 15. The Mounties were scheduled to play the St. Thomas Tommies in their first CIS League game after starting the season 1-2 in exhibition play. Krentz is studying Science at Mount Allison.

Lindsay Blight (Central Plains Capitals-defense) and Kayleigh Wiens (Pembina Valley Hawks-forward) see their first CIS Canada West Conference action this weekend (Oct.14-15) when they host the Alberta Pandas in a 2 game homestand at the Max Bell Arena - Game Times are 7:00 pm both nights.

Other former MFMHL players on the Bisons are Leiette Klassen a 2nd year goalie and 3rd year defense Danielle Vigier both played with the Pembina Valley Hawks.

The Bisons are the defending CIS Canada West Conference Champions.

MFMHL News: Graduating MFMHL players Kristine Grenier (Mercyhurst-NCAA) and Shelby Bram (Mercyhurst-NCAA) picked up their first points in NCAA play over the weekend in helping their #10 Ranked Lakers earn a split with Minnesota State. Grenier picked a goal and an assist while Bram picked up an assist. Grenier is the MFMHL's all time leading scorer with the 2 time champion PV Hawks while Bram was the leading point getter for Eastman over the past 2 seasons. CONGRATS!
