Week 14 - Karissa Kirkup - Forward - Westman Wildcats - KIrkup led the Wildcats to 3 wins over the weekend by scoring 9 goals and adding 7 assists for 16 points. Kirkup began the weekend with 4 goals and an assist vs. Parkland, then added 2 goals and 5 assists in the rematch vs. the Panthers on Saturday prior to finishing the weekend with 3 goals and an assist vs. the MFMHL East Division leaders Winnipeg Avros in a hard fought 5-4 win. To date Kirkup has 55 points (26 goals and 29 assists) in 41 games to lead the Wildcats in scoring. Kirkup lives and attends Grade 11 in Virden and was a member of Team Manitoba who earned a Bronze Medal in November at the Hockey Canada Nationals.
