Karissa Kirkup - Forward - Westman Wildcats

Karissa Kirkup a forward with the Westman Wildcats is the MFMHL Player of the Week. Kirkup led the Wildcats with 7 points (1 goal and 6 assists) during 3 wins last week to help her team move into second place in the MFMHL standings. A grade 12 student from Virden Kirkup is the Wildcats' Captain and currently leads her team in scoring with 46 points in 27 games. Kirkup  was a member of Team Manitoba that won a silver medal in Dawson Creek B.C. at the Hockey Canada U18 National Championships earlier in November.
