3 MFMHL PLAYERS INVITED TO

HOCKEY CANADA CONDITIONING CAMP

Ashleigh Brykaliuk and Karissa Kirkup of the Westman Wildcats along with former MFMHL Eastman Select Shelby Bram were invited to attend the 2013 National Women's U22/Development Team Conditioning Camp from April 24-28 in Toronto.

Brykaliuk and Kirkup are graduating from Midget Hockey this season and have been standouts for the Westman Wildcats this past season helping their team to a second place in the MFMHL and earning a spot in the MFMHL Final where they lost to the 2012 Esso Cup National Champion Pembina Valley Hawks. Both players were part of Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence Team that earned a Silver Medal at the 2012 Hockey Canada U18 National Championships and Brykaliuk was part of U18 Team Canada that won a Gold Medal at the 2013 IIHF 2013 U18 World Championships.

Bram is currently playing NCAA D1 Hockey at Mercyhurst College and this past season helped her team to the NCAA Frozen 4. The former Eastman Select standout has been a member of Hockey Canada's U18 Team and was also a member of Team Manitoba within Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence.

Of the 6 Manitoba Players selected to attend the U22 Camp 3 are graduates of the MFMHL.
