MFMHL ANNOUNCES AWARDS

JAYCEE MAGWOOD NAMED MVP and LEADS ALL-STAR SELECTIONS

Forward Jaycee Magwood of the Westman Wildcats has been selected as the 2013-14 MFMHL Most Valuable Player based on voting by league members. The 5' 8" 150 lb. power forward has been the Wildcats scoring leader all season and plays big minutes against the oppositions top players along with power play and penalty kill.The second year midget had 23 goals and 20 assists in 28 regular season games for the Wildcats good for 4th in league scoring. Magwood the Wildcats Captain hails from Killarney where she maintains an 88% GPA in High School.

The MFMHL is pleased to announce its 2013-14 First and Second Team All-star Selections based on member voting. The All-star Teams see 6 out of 8 MFMHL teams represented with the Westman Wildcats and Central Plains Capitals each placing 3 players on the two teams. The Pembina Valley Hawks and Norman Wild each had 2 players selected with the Winnipeg Avros and Yellowhead Chiefs having 1 player each earn all-star status.
