Named Offensive and Defensive Players of the Week
Former Westman Wildcat Ashleigh Brykaliuk (University of Minnesota-Duluth) registered 5 points in two games vs Minnesota State while Pembina Valley Hawks standout goalie Brittni Mowat (Bemidji State) stopped 83 of 85 shots fired at her by the #4 ranked Minnesota Golphers to pick up two wins to earn WCHA Offensive and Defensive Player of the Week Awards.

UNIVERSITY OF MANITOBA ATHLETES OF THE WEEK
Alanna Sharman and Lauryn Keen
Former Winnipeg Avros and Pembina Valley Hawks Forwards Alanna Sharman and Lauryn Keen have been named Bisons' Athletes of the Week this season. Sharman was named first star in two wins as she scored four goals and added one assist with a plus/minus rating of +5 along with four shots (all goals). Keen notched three points (two goals – one was a game-winner – plus an assist), +2 plus/minus rating, 12 shots and named first star in the 3-1 and 5-3 victories.
