Defense Carley Jewell  of the Winnipeg Avros is the Selkirk Source for Sports-Reebok MFMHL Player of the Week.  Jewell a Grade 12 student from  Winnipeg, MB. in her third season was an impact player for the Avros as she helped her team sweep 2 games from the Eastman Selects over the weekend picking up 4 points. Jewell picked up 2 assists in the first game before notching 2 goals in the second game both 5-2 wins for the Avros. Jewell who provides her team with solid defensive play has also picked up 19 points in 42 games this season from the point for the Avros .
