Forward Mekaela Fisher of the Central Plains Capitals is the Selkirk Source for Sports-Reebok MFMHL Player of the Week.  Fisher a Grade 11 student from Warren, MB. in her first season was an impact player for the Capitals as she had 5 points in leading the Capitals to 2 victories in the last week of the MFMHL regular season to help her team secure first place. Fisher had a goal and 2 assists in a 3-2 OT win over Eastman before adding 2 assists in a regular season ending 3-1 victory over Yellowhead on the road. Fisher is currently fourth in Capitals scoring with 17 goals and 11 assists. Fisher participated in the 2014 Manitoba Winter Games as part of Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence.
