EMMA GREENWOOD COMMITS TO SAIT

The MFMHL is pleased to announce that Yellowhead Chiefs goaltender Emma Greenwood has committed to attend school at and play hockey for  SAIT (Southern Alberta Institute of Technology) commencing the fall of 2016. SAIT is located in Calgary Alberta and the Trojans compete in the Alberta Colleges Athletic Conference.  Greenwood in her third MFMHL season hails from Brandon Mb. and has been a member of the Chiefs for the past two seasons after spending one season with the Pembina Valley Hawks. Greenwood has played 50 games over the past two seasons for the Chiefs for the season has a GAA of 1.56 and a save % of .939 while during her career has a 1.91 GAA and .925 Save %.  Greenwood has twice been named the MFMHL Goalie of the Month while with the Chiefs, October 2014 and November 2015.  Greenwood will graduate from Vincent Massey High School in Brandon this spring and has not finalized a course of study at SAIT. 

The MFMHL congratulates Emma on her tremendous accomplishments during her midget career to date and wishes her all the best with her future academic and hockey endeavors while at SAIT.
