Ganske Commits to Lindenwood University
The MFMHL is pleased to announce that Westman Wildcats defense Courtney Ganske has committed to attend school at and play hockey for Lindenwood University commencing the fall of 2016. Lindenwood University is a liberal arts institution located in St. Charles Missouri with the Lions competing in the CHA (College America Hockey Conference)
Ganske who hails from Killareny is the Wildcat Captain and is coming off a 2014-15 season in which she played 67 games scoring 13 goals plus adding 28 assists for 41 points. To date this season Ganske has played in 18 games notching 6 goals and 10 assists for 16 points. Ganske is known as a tremendous defender who is solid against the rush plus contributes offensive on a consistent basis. Ganske made Hockey Manitoba's Program of Excellence Final 25 Camp this past season.
The MFMHL congratulates Courtney on her outstanding accomplishments to date during her midget career and wishes her all the best with her future academic and hockey endeavors at Lindenwood University where she plans on a Bachelor in Early Years Education Degree.The MFMHL has several commitment announcements to make over the next several days with the first 3 coming from the Westman Wildcats and Yellowhead Chiefs.
