CROWE COMMITS TO REGINA

The MFMHL is pleased to announce that defense Kaitlyn Crowe of the Westman Wildcats has committed to attend school at and play hockey for the University of Regina commencing the 2016-17 season. The University of Regina is a public research university located in Regina Saskatchewan and the Cougars play in the Canada West Conference of the CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport). Crowe a 4th year Wildcat hails from Deloraine, MB, and is planning to pursue a Bachelor of Science degree.

Crowe is an assistant-captain with the Wildcats this year and has been a model of character, discipline, and work ethic for her teammates. In 29 league games last year Crowe had 1 goal, 10 assists for 11 points while registering 4 goals and 14 assists overall in 64 games last season.  Crowe who is known for her solid defensive play and and ability to control the pace of the game with her patient demeanor made Hockey Manitoba's Top 25 Camp in 2015.

The MFMHL wants to congratulate Kaitlyn on her outstanding accomplishments to date during her midget career and wishes her all the best with her future academic and athletic endeavors while at the University of Regina.
