OFFENSIVE PLAYER

#11 - Courtlyn Oswald (AP) – Central Plains

Courtlyn scored a shorthanded goal plus added an assist for 2 points in Central Plains 4-2 win over Eastman. The shorthanded goal was a tremendous effort where Oswald tied up the puck battling with 2 Eastman defense behind the Eastman net for over 25 seconds before she made a move off the boards to beat both D and score a beautiful goal with just over a minute left in the game to secure the Capitals win. Courtlyn is from MacGregor and plays with in Portage on the Bantam female “A” team.

DEFENSIVE PLAYER

#1 -  Jacey Schettler – Central Plains

Jacey is a  second year Cap netminder who stopped 41 shots in a 4-2 win vs. Eastman for a save % of over .950. She was especially solid in the third period when the Selects were pressing for the tie and fired 20 shots at the Central Plains net. Jacey is from Plumas and attends High School in Gladstone where she has a GPA of 95%.
